Why is health and wellness important to your company and how do you encourage participation? (200 words)
When our CEOs moved to Phoenix, Arizona from Canada to establish their medical practices, they quickly faced the harsh realities of the American healthcare system. Like many small businesses, they struggled with rising insurance costs, and high out-of-pocket costs, making it unsustainable to provide quality health benefits to their employees. However, without these benefits, they risked losing qualified team members to larger competitors.
Unable to find an answer, they set out to create their own. [Company] was built out of the desire to develop a healthcare solution that eliminated waste, increased efficiency, and removed unnecessary administrative costs. By removing copays and deductibles for their team members and offering free healthcare for their entire families from day one, we have seen as high as 100% participation on our company plan. [Company] also offers an array of additional benefits such as onsite nutritional assessments, free mental health counseling, and 24/7 virtual care. Onsite Medical Clinic: Team members have access to onsite medical clinics that provide convenient, immediate care, reducing the need for offsite appointments and reduce time spent on accessing important medical care. Our goal is to always help team members maintain their overall health and wellness through low costs and convenient access to care.

How does your company measure success in your wellness program efforts, and can you share an example of how this impacts your bottom line? (100 words)

Success is measured by the fact that 100% of Redirect Health's employees utilize the healthcare benefits program, ensuring every employee and their families have access to quality healthcare at no cost. This comprehensive coverage contributes to a healthier, more satisfied workforce, ultimately benefiting the company’s overall productivity and retention rates. We also conduct quarterly engagement surveys to get a health check on our team's satisfaction with their healthcare plan and wellness offerings. This helps open the door for consistent communication and to see how we can make improvements to meet the needs of our team.

Considering all of the impacts due to the pandemic, how does your company encourage mental health wellness? (100 words)

We understand the importance of not only physical well-being, but the mental health of all of our team members and their families too. Included and no extra cost are unlimited mental health counseling visits to ensure we are meeting the highest standard of care. During the prolonged Covid-19 pandemic, many Americans have struggled with mental health. Having access to readily-available counseling services has been an invaluable resource for team members and their loved ones, providing essential support during these challenging times.​
